needle to the groove
Created for my love of Afrobeat music, AFROHEAT! began as a monthly event in the spring of 2014 at the Round Corner Cantina in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh and eventually found a home at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater. The mission is to bring the beautiful music of Africa with driving rhythms & messages of peace, love, protest, and revolution to the people. After a solid year of bringing African rhythms to the dancefloor, my search for the deepest Afrobeat grooves continues.

make some noise
I would describe my production style as raw and experimental. Raised on soul, jazz, hip hop, & reggae, it is always my goal to create colorful collages of sound to stimulate eardrums.
